Coffee Addiction

An Ode To Keurig

I requested feedback from my Facebook friends concerning my About Me page, and the overwhelming response was, “I’m pretty sure your coffee maker feels left out.”

After a small edit to my About Me page, I thought it might be a good idea to share my coffee addiction with you.

As frequently as I write about coffee, I only drink between 1 and 4 cups a day, with a normal day being 2 cups.  (Except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I work; my normal day there is 3 cups.)  I will occasionally skip a day of coffee just so I don’t need to continue upping my dosage, if that makes sense.  But don’t worry–I only do that if I don’t have to see anyone.

I use a Keurig machine.  I’m on my 3rd or 4th machine… and I’ve only paid for one, because their customer service is AWESOME.  The one I’m on now has lasted the longest, and I think it’s because we haven’t really entertained since we’ve moved (parties tend to be hard on my Keurig because it tends to be the center of activity.)

I get my coffee from Tiki Hut Coffee–they have great prices and free shipping on orders of $75 or more.

I use one tablespoon of Xylitol to sweeten my coffee; no cream.  I prefer xylitol because it actually tastes like sugar.

As far as preferences for coffee flavors, that is always changing.  Currently, my favorite is Jamaica Me Crazy, but past loves have included Cinnamon Pastry, Lake and Lodge, Nantucket Blend, Mocha Nut Fudge, and more.

And there you have it–the most useless blog post ever!  I’ll post something with more substance soon.  Until then, join me for a good cup of coffee.
