So I’ve been hanging 9 billion pictures since I’ve been setting up house after my recent move, and it occurred to me that everyone might not already know this easy little cheat I’ve been using for years now…

Take tape.  Masking or scotch tape is preferred.

Cut off a piece of tape that is the length of the distance between the two holes on the back of the picture you’re hanging.

Put the piece of tape on the wall where you’d like to hang your picture.  Check it with a level to be sure it’s right.

Hammer nails on the opposite ends of the tape.

Hang your picture.
